According to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, over 400,000 children in LA County face hunger. Committed to its vision that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles County, the Food Bank mobilizes resources to fight hunger in its community. Each week, the Food Bank distributes more than 1 million pounds of food, which is the equivalent of about 770,000 meals.
In an effort to support its community during the holiday season, The Private Bank of California made a donation to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank that provided for 20,000 meals for the hungry.
“Thanks to donations from wonderful organizations such as The Private Bank of California, we are able to help families who are living paycheck to paycheck,” said Michael Flood, President of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. “We make each dollar go a long way in our efforts to fight hunger throughout Los Angeles and are grateful for the ongoing support of the Bank.”
