ADL Celebrates 100 Years of Impact
The Anti-Defamation League Continues to Strive for a World Without Hate
01.29.13
Founded in 1913, the Anti-Defamation League began in order to stop the defamation of Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all. Now, 100 years later, the nation's premier civil rights and human relations agency continues to fight anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, while defending democratic ideals and protecting civil rights for all.
With a Centennial year theme of "Imagine a World without Hate™," ADL remains dedicated to making our country a more inclusive home for all; where being different is not a liability and diversity is a cherished strength. As a leader in the development of programs and services, ADL builds bridges of communication among diverse groups, through a network of 30 Regional and Satellite Offices in the United States and abroad.
Knowing that there is still much work to be done, the Anti-Defamation League will continue to carry out its Mission over the next 100 years.
