IN THE COMMUNITY
On March 4th, The Private Bank of California supported the National Association of Women Business Owners by attending its Annual Leadership & Legacy Awards Luncheon. Held at the JW Marriot Los Angeles at L.A. Live and celebrating its silver anniversary, the annual NAWBO-LA Awards Luncheon gave tribute to top achievers and advocates in the women's business community who have established a legacy of entrepreneurial excellence and contributed significantly to the advancement of women.
"The Private Bank is proud to actively support NAWBO-LA. NAWBO-LA is an exceptional and dynamic organization that is achieving its mission of propelling women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power. The event was inspiring, uplifting and beautifully executed," said Kathleen Chapman, Senior Vice President at the Bank.
NAWBO-LA, one of 80-plus chapters of NAWBO, represents the interests of nearly 544,000 privately held women-owned businesses in the greater Los Angeles region that generate $125 billion in annual revenue and employ more than 692,000 people. The women-owned business community is the fastest growing segment in the economy, with such small businesses creating two out of three new jobs.
