LOS ANGELES-- The Private Bank of California (the "Bank") (OTCBB:PBCA.ob - News) today announced that David Misch, Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles-based Bank, has been elected as a new member of the California Bankers Association's (CBA) 2011-2012 board of directors.

"We welcome David to our board of directors," said Rodney K. Brown, president and CEO of CBA. "As a banker with approximately three decades of experience, we look forward to the guidance and direction he will provide to the association in this volunteer position."

David Misch's career in banking spans 30 years, 20 of which were at BNY Mellon, where he held leadership positions in subsidiary organizations, 1st Business Bank in Los Angeles and United National Bank in Miami.

"I am honored to be on the board of this great banking trade association. Our Bank values the educational and legislative solutions that CBA brings to the industry," says Misch. "I hope to contribute to its growth and success over the next year."
