The Private Bank of California was proud to sponsor the 66^th Annual Ojai Music Festival, which took place earlier this month.  Each year the festival attracts musicians from all over the world to perform exceptional classical music pieces.  The event brings together extraordinary artists, an inspiring and diverse music repertoire, and a captivated, passionate audience using Ojai as the backdrop.  This four-day experience continues to live up to its reputation as an “internationally influential” event that allows the audience to immerse themselves in the beauty of classical music in a tranquil outdoor setting. 

"Ojai Music Festival prides itself on its close relationships with its patrons and is grateful for The Private Bank of California's shared philosophy of creating meaningful experiences for its customers through its sponsorship of the Ojai Music Festival's donor concert," said Jeff Haydon, Executive Director of the Festival. 

Each year, a new music director is selected by Artistic Director Thomas W. Morris to lead and curate the festival, guaranteeing a unique experience year after year.  The 2012 director was Leif Ove Andsnes, one of the foremost pianists of our time, who surprised audiences by performing an encore of Stravinsky's Circus Polka! alongside pianist Marc-André Hamelin.  Patrons also enjoyed the sounds of the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, Martin Fröst, Christianne Stotijn, and Antoine Tamestit, among others.  A record number of people attended the festival this year and even those who could not attend were able to enjoy the main concerts through a live video stream.
