The Bank Wins 1st Place in Charity Bocce Invitational
Proceeds Support Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America
The Bank took 1st Place out of 16 teams in the recent Rutan & Tucker Bocce Invitational, benefitting Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). The fundraiser took place at the bocce courts at Il Fornaio Restaurant in Irvine. The Bank played in the tournament alongside teams formed by Orange County businesses such as Wells Fargo, Direct TV, Sunwest Bank, California Bank & Trust, Orange County Business Bank, Rutan and Tucker, Orange County Business Journal, and Dorsey & Whitney. Attendees enjoyed a fun evening of bocce ball, live jazz, cocktails and light fare provided by Il Fornaio Restaurant. The Bank's new Orange County branch was delighted to participate in this intimate fundraiser:
“The Bocce event was energizing and we enjoyed engaging with our neighboring colleagues and businessess," said participant Joseph Mauriello, Senior Vice President of the Bank's Orange County branch. “Carol Fox, the event coordinator for CCFA, and her team of volunteers were inspiring and I applaud them for a successful event.”
The winning team, as seen from left to right in the photo, was comprised of Ron Viggiano, President of Austin Taylor in Irvine, Elena and Joseph Mauriello of the Bank, Frank J. Gill IV, VP of Holman Capital in Rancho Santa Margarita, and Carol Fox, event coordinator for CCFA. The team was proud to represent The Private Bank in support of this great cause.
