CAALA's Annual Las Vegas Convention Celebrates 30 years

The Private Bank recently participated in the Consumer Attorney’s Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) Annual Las Vegas Convention, held at The Palazzo Hotel earlier this month.  This year marked the 30^th anniversary of the annual convention and the theme was Celebrating CAALA Vegas of the Past, Present, and Future.  Special events were held in honor of the Convention’s milestone, including  a kickoff party called Back to the Future where attendees caught a glimpse of a space-age Vegas of 2030 and beyond.  Michael Alder of Alder Law also hosted a swanky Saturday Cocktail Party called 'Blast from the Past' which celebrated the 30-year milestone.  Mr. Alder, a client of the Bank, also participated as a 'Master Speaker' at the convention.

“The CAALA Convention is extremely beneficial to the Bank because it reminds people that we are a business bank dedicated to serving the legal community,” said Vice President Relationship Manager Debra Bordeaux.  “Ofelia Hovsepian, Assistant VP Relationship Manager, and I have been members of CAALA for almost 10 years.  We have met many clients, including Mr. Alder, through this organization and continue to cultivate relationships and referrals in the legal arena.”

CAALA's Annual Convention is the largest convention of trial attorneys in the nation, with this year proving to be the largest to date.  It featured three and half days of educational sessions presented by the nation's most accomplished trial lawyers, jurists and legal consultants.  The convention provided an excellent opportunity to network with almost 2,000 attendees and over 100 legal service exhibitors.
