Beers appointed CEO of FremantleMedia North America

We proudly congratulate Thom Beers who was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of FremantleMedia North America.  A native of Batavia, New York, Beers is a world traveler who shares his experiences through film making.  He is authentically fascinated with the hands that build America and tells these stories from a unique perspective.  Beers' distinct point of view and dedication have made him a well-respected reality show genius.   

Mr. Beers founded his own production company, Original Productions, in 1997 after 11 years as a Production Executive and Series and Special Producer for Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta and a similar position at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles.  At Original Productions, Beers began his now long-standing winning streak for Superstation TBS.  More than 14 of his series are on the air right now, including top-rated Emmy® winning shows like "Deadliest Catch" and "Storage Wars".  His success with Original Productions led him to the appointment as CEO of Freemantle, an opportunity of a lifetime.
