Business Audience Learns About Current Southern California Commercial Lending Environment

12.18.12

The Private Bank of California took an active role in this year's 2012 Business Forum Series, as Executive Vice President Nick Zappia spoke to the audience about the current Southern California Commercial Lending environment. The event, held at The San Antonio Winery in Downtown Los Angeles, was a forum for Business Owners, Chief Financial Officers and Human Resource Directors. Key representatives from eight well-known private businesses located in the Los Angeles area were also in attendance.

Mr. Zappia's presentation on the current Commerical Lending Environment informed the audience about trends in working capital commercial real estate lending and the lending criteria in today’s regulatory environment. In addition to Mr. Zappia, guest speakers from Bolton & Company and Morgan Stanley also presented their insights.  Forum attendees indulged in a complimentary lunch while representatives from the aforementioned companies spoke about California Workers Compensation and Turbocharging 401(k) Employee Education.

Following Mr. Zappia’s speech, Patrick McKiernan, Corporate Retirement Director of Morgan Stanley, shared his insights on 401(k) plans. He offered innovative ideas to increase deferral, unique approaches to keep participants of the program informed, and emphasized the power of keeping 401(k) education as simple as possible. Jeannie DeLaura, Assistant Vice President at Bolton & Company concluded the event with updates on workers compensation issues.

The Private Bank of California was proud to participate in this educational business forum alongside esteemed companies like Morgan Stanley and Bolton & Company.
